POSITION
Full-time intermediate interior designer at our office/showroom in North Vancouver.
WHO WE ARE
Life Space Interior Design is the parent company to Vancouver Sauna and Timeless Wine Cellars both of which create high-end custom woodworking projects in the Greater Vancouver Area. We are looking for a designer who needs minimal training and can use their creativity and familiarity with interior design trends and construction principles to provide the best ideas for clients.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE
- Functional knowledge of common computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Sketchup is an asset
- Completion of post-secondary education in interior design
- Be part of a design team for concept, documentation, and contract administration
- Documentation of design by drawing and specification writing
- Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication with clients
- Be highly organized with an ability to focus on attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Ensure company and customer satisfaction through professional appearance, expert quality, and polite communication
- Follows office protocol and procedures, and established procedures
- Strong technical knowledge of construction principles
- Works closely with the Associates for consistent team communication
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Interior Design: 2 years
- Sketchup: 2 years
- Proficient in AutoCAD LT, Sketchup, and Photoshop
COMPENASTION
Up to $30 per hour, based on skill and experience.
– Additional pay through bonuses and overtime
